Residential noise control is crucial wherever disturbing noises can spread unchecked within the premises. This still benefits modern acoustic insulation architecture due to the materials used, e.g. large glass areas, exposed concrete, parquet or stone floors, etc. Noise problems from such materials are inevitable. Even though soundproofing of a flat and noise protection for apartments is already considered in today's acoustic architecture, additional sound insulation in flats and sound absorbing is often needed for living spaces like acoustic boards for the living room to improve acoustics and reduce unwanted noise.
